On October 21, 2007 the Panhellenic Council will sponsor a 5K run and walk to benefit Peaceful Paths and Women Build Habitat for Humanity of Alachua. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Commuter Lot on Gale Lemerand Drive and wind through campus ending at 10 a.m. with an awards ceremony to follow. Free breakfast will be served for all 5K particpants. The event is open to all members of the community, and runners may enter individually or in a group. It is a social organization dedicated to the promotion of leadership, diversity, scholastic achievement and service through communication within and beyond the Panhellenic community.
